BioGaia Protectis chewable tablets – strawberry flavoured

BioGaia Protectis chewable tablets with strawberry flavour are a food supplement containing Limosilactobacillus reuteri Protectis. They provide a safe, simple, and convenient way to maintain an adequate number of bacteria in the digestive tract. Just one tablet a day provides the recommended dose of 100 million live Limosilactobacillus reuteri Protectis bacteria. With its exceptional and well-documented properties in several areas, Limosilactobacillus reuteri Protectis is considered a very high-quality lactic acid (where allowed: lactic acid bacterium) bacterium. It has been proven to be safe in clinical studies in both children and adults. Available in packs of 10 or 20, or as a family pack with 30 tablets.

Ingredients

Bulking agent (isomalt), sweetener (xylitol), L. reuteri DSM 17938, palm oil, natural lemon flavoring and flavor enhancer (citric acid). One tablet consists of a minimum of 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis. Net weight per tablet, 450 mg. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect due to the content of sweeteners in the product.

Directions for use

Adults and children over the age of two should take 1–2 chewable tablets a day. They can be chewed, swallowed, or left to melt in the mouth. They can be taken regularly or temporarily e.g. during antibiotic treatment. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Storage

Store in a dry place, at room temperature (max. 25 °C / 77 °F). Keep out of reach of children.

BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution with lactic acid bacteria (ORS)

BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution with zinc conveniently supplements the intestinal flora and salts and fluids, as it is quickly absorbed by the body. Thanks to the Limosilactobacillus reuteri Protectis, BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution promotes colonization of bacteria in the intestinal tract. WHO and UNICEF also recommend using zinc to aid rehydration in children. Therefore, BioGaia has added both zinc and mineral salts to BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution. One package contains seven sachets.

Ingredients

Glucose, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, L. reuteri DSM 17938 and zinc sulphate. One sachet contains a minimum of 1 billion live L. reuteri Protectis.

Directions for use

Stir one sachet into 250 ml of water. Use bottled or boiled water, if the quality of the tap water is unknown. Boiled water should be cool before adding BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution. Once mixed, use within 6 hours when stored in the refrigerator and within three hours when stored at room temperature. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Tip: Add a spoonful of apple juice or drink with a straw!

Important

Always use the volume of water stated above. If BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution is not mixed with enough water, the body will receive too much salt, which could be dangerous. Seek medical attention if a child seems abnormally tired, does not want to drink, or is not urinating.
